Wildlife at the Bluffs

We went for a walk down at the Scarborough Bluffs. There was a lot of wildlife for us to enjoy and I thought I'd share them with you all.

So many frogs. Most were mating, but I'll spare you those photos :)

Not all the wildlife was alive. I'm not sure what this is/was, though my guess is an Opossum.

These last three are birds. Not sure what this one is, so I'm just going to call it a blue-necked-blackbird

Duck

Seagull

Once the weather warms up I think Max and I will go down there more often.

Renovation Progress Update

I don't think anything more needs to be said. As you can see the renovations are coming along and everything is neat and tidy.

up to date with Max

Max doing one of his favorite things, sliding.

I just thought this was a nice shot of Max out enjoying the warm weather.

We went out to eat the other day and I got this shot of him before his meal.

Toyota Stroller

We went to the zoo the other day and the accelerator on the stroller got stuck. Max wasn't able to reach the gear lever to shift it into neutral so away he went. Lucky for us thought the stroller has a speed limiter and can't go past 5kph. That combined with the fact that the dry weight of the stroller is less then 14Kg I was able to just reach out and stop it.

popsicle

Max, up until today, has not liked popsicles. If you tried to give him one he would run away from it. Very unlike Max, who will normally run up to strangers if there is food involved. Well after having him stick out his tongue to have a lick he decided that he did indeed like it and took the last of the popsicle.

after I stopped filming he started looking around for the bit of popsicle that I had taken out of his mouth because he still wanted to eat it. I had ,however, already eaten it, so all he got to do is lick the empty stick.

renovations

The reno is coming along slow and steady. I will have a before and after pano for the blog once it's finished and I take the after pano :) For now, however, I just wanted to share a quick video. On the wall with the butlers pantry I moved the power outlet up to counter height and then added another outlet. Easy enough when you have wood studded walls, but when the walls are concrete it's gets to be a bit more difficult.
