Sting Ray Bay

The Toronto Zoo invited it's members to a free preview of "Sting Ray Bay." With a price like that how could we say no? So we signed up and waited for the day to come. Well on Thursday our day came.

Max looking at us as if to say "what do you mean wait?"


While we waited for our turn to see the rays we had a look around the kids "Discovery Zone," where Max got to see some rabbits.


After the rabbits Max was chased by a sabertooth tiger.


Before too long we got to go in and pet the sting rays, sharks and crabs.


Yes even Max got to touch them.

We all know Max has a softer side though, because here he is running off with a flower that he picked from the Zoo's garden.

Random Max

Max loves playing with water bottles, and the other day while playing with one he tripped over it and ended up with a fat lip.


Max is also enjoying trying on other peoples shoes. Here he is trying on mine.


And finally we have a shot of Max doing, perhaps what he loves best of all, running around naked!

out at the park the other day and Max thought he would eat a lion, a dandelion that is. I don't think he liked it very much.

Out to the park today where we found a ball. So Max and I decided to have a kick around. Look out Ranaldo and Becks, here comes Max

Wildlife at the Bluffs

We went for a walk down at the Scarborough Bluffs. There was a lot of wildlife for us to enjoy and I thought I'd share them with you all.

So many frogs. Most were mating, but I'll spare you those photos :)


Not all the wildlife was alive. I'm not sure what this is/was, though my guess is an Opossum.


These last three are birds. Not sure what this one is, so I'm just going to call it a blue-necked-blackbird

Once the weather warms up I think Max and I will go down there more often.

Renovation Progress Update

I don't think anything more needs to be said. As you can see the renovations are coming along and everything is neat and tidy.
